On Jack..

The All Star break will make him refreshed and energized I honestly think he is just going to go on a crazy scoring streak

That was the type of hockey I love to see. Don't get me wrong I love a hard fought 2-1 game but those are few and far between, mostly seen in the playoffs. That reminded me of the "comeback kids" Sabres of 05-06.

Eichel can really be fun to watch even in a loss, cannot wait to see how good he can really become. Glad to see Girgs pot a few and hopefully start a streak.

Best part of the night is my almost 2 year old son running around clapping and saying "I-gal, I gal" every time the Sabres score.

what the heck is going on with Ennis?!

I'd really love to see him on that line with Girgs and Eichel.

But that team would have an epic comeback with 30 seconds left in the game and win it this team does the opposite

Good reed Bo0s . Your right on that point if Dan allows them to play like that. Even if it a few shifts a game to get some goals scored. Just need our goalie to hold the fort while it's happening .

yeah, it would be fun, cab...imo, this season's already shot and the team is pretty well-versed in the defensive aspects of the game already...why not open it up a bit?...even if it's only for a few shifts, like you said

This is true, but that team was full of young guys looking to make a name, some of these guys seem complacent with a 4th line checking role. *cough* Foligno *cough*

A. At least last night was exciting. Girgensons looked great. Eichel is everything we expected

B. I'm confused as to what separates this team from any since 2007. The last 2 seasons really skewed our standards. We made the playoffs twice after '07

29th place in the standings, 29th in goal scoring. All while Eichel, O'Reilly, and Ristolainen are producing at an almost All-star pace.

Some of the pieces on this team are getting way overhyped. Murray has a ton of work cut out for him.

Foligno as I stated before he just pisses me off I honestly can't wait until We trade him he's not the same player he once was when he was first here

imo, Brodie, none of those teams from 2007 to last year could have made up a two-goal, third period deficit against a top-notch goalie like lundqvist...that to me is a big one

In 2010 when we won the division, I'd be shocked if we didn't have a good comeback or two.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade places with that team even though we are still bad, but that is 100% to do with Jack Eichel and Ristolainen being better foundation pieces than we have had in years
